  JetS3t is a open-source Java toolkit and application suite for the Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3). The toolkit provides Java programmers with a powerful yet simple API for interacting with S3 and managing data stored there, while the applications allow anyone to easily manage and interact with their S3 accounts.

  It's a simple API to access Amazon's web services. It is a thread-safe media and works very reliably. It uses the QUERY interfaces and patterns the methods after those available from Amazon in their SOAP client for these services.

  Apache Lucene is a high-performance, full-featured text search engine library written entirely in Java. It is a technology suitable for nearly any application that requires full-text search, especially cross-platform.
