1. Download Bucket Explorer.exe from http://www.bucketexplorer.com/be-download.html .
2. Click on download from the section Download for Windows Environment.
3. Read end user agreement and (if agree) select download link located down the page, right side or top middle.
4. Run or Save exe file to your hard disk. Download takes time depends upon your speed of internet connection
5. Open the folder and double click on application icon (e.g. Bucket-explorer-installer-2008.08.08.01).
6. A wizard appears, simply follow steps.
7. On Welcome screen, click Next.
8. On next screen select a option from i. Install for anyone using this computer  ^[1] ii. Install just for me ^[2] iii. Portable install  ^[3] .
9. Check license agreement and click Next.
10. Choose location where you want to install Bucket Explorer.
11. On completing Bucket Explorer setup click  Finish button to close wizard.
12. If you select All users or Only for me , Bucket Explorer is installed on your machine at Start --> Program files --> BucketExplorer --> Bucketexplorer.exe, Bucketcommander.exe, Uninstall Bucket Explorer. [If you select portable then it will be extracted only at specified location.]

2. Click on download from section Download for Mac OS X Environment .
3. Read end user agreement and (if agree) select download link located down the page, right side or top middle.
4. Save file to your hard disk. Download takes time depends upon your speed of internet connection.
5. Extract the zipped file.
6. Run BucketExplorer.App.

5. Run bucketexplorer.sh file

NOTE : You must modify all shell files in case of Linux version as given below
We are providing a variable "bucketexplorer_home" in all shell files (.sh files) to specify the root path where the Bucket Explorer package is placed. Suppose the package has been placed at /home/user1/ , Just specify the path like "/home/user1/bucketexplorer_linux_2007.01.03.04" to the variable named as "bucketexplorer_home" on the top of the script. Now you can run this script on the $ prompt as shown below:
"sh<ScriptName>.sh" and Press Enter.

When you install Bucket Explorer through "installer", it is simply installed at a destination of your choice. A short cut is also created in programs menu.
So, to uninstall, you can just click the shortcut "Uninstall Bucket Explorer" from Start -> All Programs -> Bucket Explorer.

1. ˆ  Install for anyone using this computer: This option installs Bucket Explorer in program files of all the users exist on user’s machine.
2. ˆ  Install just for me: This option installs Bucket Explorer in program files of a specified user.
3. ˆ Portable install: This option installs Bucket Explorer on desktop and there will be no entry in startup. Installing as portable it can be run within any portable media like pen drive, CD etc.
