Amazon S3 - How to copy versions of an object?

Bucket Explorer allows you to copy any version object in the same or different account. Using Transfer panel you can copy version object. If an object already exists in destination; it will to overwrite or skip. Copy of version object is allowed only for a single object not for multiple objects. It means that you can copy only one version object at a time.

Follow the steps to copy version object:
  1. Start Bucket Explorer and connect with your Amazon S3 Account.
  2. Choose any bucket where versioning is set.
  3. Right click on that bucket and choose "List All Versions" option or choose "List Version" object in object toolbar.
  4. It will list all version objects of the selected bucket.
  5. Now select any version object which you want to copy.
  6. Right click on selected S3 object.
  7. Select Copy, Move & Rename --> Copy option.
  8. It will open  Transfer Panel with the list of objects from the bucket selected at main panel in your S3 account on the left side panel.
  1. Now select a nickname (authentication profile name for your saved credentials) from Nick Name combo box placed at the Right side panel that may be of the same account or of different account.
  2. Click on Go button. This will list buckets from the selected S3 account at the right side table.
  3. Now double click on any bucket that you want to copy.
  4. Select version object to copy from the left side object listing.
  5. Now click on ‘->’ blue colored arrow directed towards the Right side, at the middle of the transfer panel.
  6. After successful completion of copying process, a balloon tool tip with  "Operation got success."  message will appear at the bottom left corner of transfer panel.

Note: If selected version objects have delete status, then copy operation can not be performed on the object.
