How to copy versions of an object?

Bucket Explorer provides facility to copy any version object in same or different account. Using Transfer panel you can copy version object, if an object already exists at destination then it will ask for overwrite or skip. Copy of version object is allowed only for single object not for multiple. It means at a time you can copy only one version object.

Follow the steps for copy version object :
  1. Start the Bucket Explorer and connect with your Amazon S3 Account.
  2. Choose any bucket on which versioning is set.
  3. Right click on that bucket and choose "List All Versions" option or choose "List Version" object from object toolbar.
  4. It will list all version objects of selected bucket.
  5. Now select any version object which you want to copy.
  6. Right click on selected S3 object.
  7. Select Copy, Move & Rename --> Copy option.
  8. It will open a Transfer Panel with the list of objects from bucket selected at main panel in your S3 account on left side panel.
  9. Now select nick name (authentication profile name for your saved credentials) from Nick Name combo box placed at Right side panel which may be same account or different.
  10. Click on Go button. This will list buckets from selected S3 account at right side table.
  11. Now double click on any bucket in which you want to copy .
  12. Select version object to copy from left side object listing.
  13. Now click on ‘->’ blue colored arrow directed towards Right side, at the middle of the transfer panel.
  14. After successful completion of copying process, a balloon tool tip "Operation got success." appears at bottom left corner of transfer panel.

Note: If selected version objects has delete status then copy operation can not be performed on the object.
