If you haven't java installed on your system then you need to follow these steps before run Bucket Commander from BucketCommander-jre.sh file.

Follow these steps if you have not copied “jre6” to home path -

Download latest JRE, install it to your system and rename this folder to jre6.

Open BucketCommander-jre.sh file for edit.

Update in place of
$BucketCommander_home
with the path where jre6 has been installed in
chkpath="
$BucketCommander_home
/jre6/bin/java"
and
export PATH=
$BucketCommander_home
/jre6/bin:${PATH}
variables.

Now save BucketCommander-jre.sh file.
OR

Follow this if you have copied “jre6” to home path -

Copy the latest JRE from your local system to Bucket Commander root folder & Rename it to ‘jre6’.

Now Go to Applications >> Accessories >> Terminal

Run BucketCommander.sh/BucketCommander-jre.sh file
