If you want to rename an object, you need to follow the steps below :

1. Start the Bucket Explorer and connect with your Amazon S3 Account.
2. Select Bucket whose file you want to rename.
3. Select S3 file of your interest from object panel.
4. Right click on selected file and click Rename option.
5. Enter new name in input box and click OK .
6. Renaming process will be started in queue window .
7. See total number of renamed/ failed and pending file in Statistics tab of queue window.
8. See the list of successfully renamed/ failed and skipped file in appropriate tab.
9. If renaming process gets failed then it retries automatically by default 3 times.
10. After automatic retry if it is still failed then Retry button will be visible on Statistics panel , click on retry button to rename again.
11. After successful completion of renaming process, close the queue window.
12. You've done.
