If you need to track your data transfer on your
Amazon S3 account
, Bucket Explorer provides you
bucket logging
service.

Set logging
: Using this option, you can log all the activities on specified
bucket
. To activate logging for the bucket, you only need to right click on bucket and choose the "Bucket Logging option"

Remove Bucket Logging
: Using this option, you can disable or remove bucket logging for already logged bucket.
Follow the steps
to enable/ set Amazon S3 bucket
logging
:

Select the bucket, on which you want to enable/set logging.

Choose “ Logging-> Set “
or
can Right click in bucket panel to choose "Bucket Logging operation ->set logging" option

Bucket Explorer shows you bucket logging window in which Bucket Explorer shows bucket logging status, if logging is enabled then it shows bucket name where logs of selected bucket delivered by Amazon otherwise shows "
not logged
" status.

In this window you need to choose the bucket name, where Amazon will deliver logs, you will need to specify it into text box related to "Log To" label.

You can also specify log prefix by which you can easily classify and recognize your log.
By default Bucket Explorer use the selected bucket name as log prefix
.

You can also share logs to other user using “Set Grantee” option. Enter Email Id of user /canonical ID of account with which you want to share the log files.

Now logging is enabled on your selected bucket, and its log will be delivered by Amazon in "
Log To
" bucket.
Follow the steps
to disable/
remove
Amazon
S3 bucket
logging
:

Click on Logging -> Remove
or
right click on bucket and choose "Bucket Logging operation ->Remove" option.

Then it shows message in message box "bucket logging removed for :
$BucketName$
"
