How to upload, download and copy objects using drag and drop?

Now you can use Drag and Drop to upload, download and copy the S3 objects that makes your work faster and easy. You can pick your native file(s) then start dragging those file(s) and drop onto the object table of Bucket Explorer. The dropped file will be uploaded to Amazon S3 in your selected bucket. You can also upload file(s) from local file explorer situated over right side corner of Bucket Explorer main window, by simply start dragging selected file(s) and dropping to object table. You can download in similar fashion. If you have two instance opened of Bucket Explorer then you can copy your S3 objects by dragging selected s3 objects from source object table and dropping onto the destination object table.
 

Follow these steps to copy, download and upload file(s) using drag and drop:-

Upload :

  1. Run Bucket Explorer as usual.
  2. Restore down the Bucket Explorer window.
  3. Select native file(s) that need to be uploaded.
  4. Start dragging those selected file(s).
  5. Drop those file(s) onto the object table of Bucket Explorer main window.
  OR
  1. Run Bucket Explorer as usual.
  2. Select any bucket and list S3 object(s).
  3. Select any local file(s) from left side panel which shows file(s) of Local file system.
  4. Drag the selected file and drop to object table.

Download :

  1. Run Bucket Explorer as usual.
  2. Select any bucket and list S3 object(s).
  3. Drag the selected S3 object(s) and Drop to left panel which shows file(s) of Local file system.
  4. The dropped file will be downloaded.
 

Copy :

  1. Run Bucket Explorer as usual.
  2. Select the bucket and list S3 object(s) that you would like to copy.
  3. Now Go to File >> New Window .
  4. A new Bucket Explorer will be opened.
  5. Select the destination bucket and list S3 object(s) in new instance of Bucket Explorer.
  6. Drag the selected S3 object(s) from source instance and Drop them to object table, of destination instance of Bucket Explorer.
  7. The S3 object(s) must be copied to the destination bucket.
