How to view Amazon S3 Operations logs?

Bucket Explorer provides you with a new feature to open logs. "Open Logs" option opens the path where Bucket Explorer logs (error, info and debug logs) reside. It means that it explores the Logs folder and you can view all the log files.

Follow steps to open logs on Windows & Linux:
  1. Run Bucket Explorer.
  2. Click on "Open Logs" hyperlink from the licensing window
    OR

    Choose "Help --> Open Logs" from Bucket Explorer main window.
  3. After selecting any of the above option, it will open the path where Bucket Explorer logs exist.
  4. Now you can view the log files quickly in a simple way.

Follow steps to open logs on MAC OS X:

  1. Open Terminal.
  2. Write command open $TMPDIR  on terminal and hit enter.
  3. It will open temp folder on Mac OS X.
  4. Here you will find .BucketExplorer folder.
  5. In this folder Bucket Explorer logs exist.
  6. Now you can view the log files quickly in a simple way.
