Why am I unable to activate Bucket Explorer with purchased activation key?

There are four probable cases when you are unable to activate product with your purchased license activation key. Please see the cases and determine which  suits you and what the solutions are for you.

Case I: Activating the product version with its related purchased license activation key.
Solution:   When you are trying to activate product version with its related purchased license activation key, there are 3 possible conditions of the activation failure.

  1. You’re not connected to the internet.
  2. You’re running behind a proxy.
  3. You’re connected to a server but are getting network connection time out problem.

Please check your network connection properly for the first condition. If you are running behind a proxy, set the same proxy for the product by clicking on proxy setting on the lower right corner of the license verification window. You can retry for the third condition, and after making sure that you don’t have any of the above problems try, to activate the product again.

Case II: Activating the latest product release with the older license activation key.
Solution:  Activation key of any older version within the last 6 months can be used to activate the current version.
• To get a copy of your purchased version, please contact us .
• If you are using more than 6 month old license activation key to activate a newer release, we recommend you to purchase license for the same version. 

Case III: Activating the older product version with an advanced purchased license activation key.
Solution:   You can’t activate older product version with newer activation key. If you’ve purchased the latest release, you can download it at our main download page and if you have purchased a version that is not the latest one, you can contact us to get a copy of your purchased version.

Case IV: Activating product with the purchased license activation key of another product. Probable conditions are:

  1. Purchased Minalyzer and trying to activate Bucket Explorer.
  2. Purchased SDB Explorer and trying to activate Bucket Explorer.
  3. Purchased Beyond Inbox and trying to activate Bucket Explorer.
  4. Purchased Bucket Explorer and trying to activate SDB Explorer/Minalyzer/Beyond Inbox. 

Solution: You can’t activate Bucket Explorer with the purchased license activation key of another product. Please check if you’re trying to activate the product with another product’s activation key.
If you don’t have your purchased product downloaded on your computer, you can download the latest release at the download page of its site or you can use contact us to get a copy of your older purchased version, if you’ve not purchased the latest release.

Case V: Using Invalid License Activation Key.
Solution:   Check the Activation Key format.The Activation Key which you are using to activate the license should be of format like XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX.

Case VI: Email and Activation Key which you have provided are not valid
Solution:   Login to https://accounts.chambal.com and check the purchase details and from there you can recover your Activation Key. Use the same EmailID and Activation Key combination to activate the license.
