Follow the steps below to share and access an Google Storage bucket & its files/ folders.
Follow the steps
to share a whole Google Storage bucket for collaboration:

Run Bucket Explorer.

Get connect with your Google Storage account.

Click on
Tool
menu.

Select >>
Bucket Sharing
>>
Share my Bucket with a friend
option.

A new panel
Share bucket with friends
will be opened and will show you a list of all buckets.
-
Select any bucket from the bucket list.
-
Click on
OK
button.
-
Access Control Permissions
window will appear.
-
Now give the desired permissions
to the users and save it.
-
You have done. Enjoy the bucket sharing .

Follow the steps
to access an Google Storage bucket from your friend's account:
-

Start Bucket Explorer and Get connect with your Google Storage account.

Click on
Tool
menu.

Go to
the
Bucket Sharing
>>
Access Shared Bucket from a friend's account
option.
-
It prompts you to enter the name of shared bucket.
-
provide the shared bucket name and click on
OK
button.

Now you can see the friend's bucket with
shared bucket
icon
in bucket listing.

You have done. Enjoy the Bucket accessing.
Follow these steps
to Remove Shared Bucket(s) from Config:

Run Bucket Explorer and connect with your Google Storage account account.

Click on
Tool
menu.

Go to
the
Bucket Sharing
>>
Removed Shared Bucket(s) from config
option.

A new panel will be opened which contains the list of all shared buckets.
-
Select a bucket name that you would like to remove.
-
Click
Remove
button at
Edit Third Party Bucket
panel.

It removes
‘Third Party bucket’

or Shared Bucket name from your Bucket listing table.

Start Bucket Explorer and connect with your Google Storage account

; If a bucket is shared with "
All Users
", in that case anybody can access that bucket whether she is registered or not with Google Storage. Hence this step is optional, you may or may not connect to your Google Storage account.

Third Party bucket
: A bucket which we are accessing from other's account, in Bucket Explorer, we call it a
Friend's Bucket
or a Third Party Bucket. Read/Write operations over such a bucket depend on the permissions which can only be set by the bucket owner.
