How does Bucket Explorer Team Edition 2.0 handle authentication,authorization and encryption of Amazon S3 keys?

In older Team Edition, we were handling all authentication, authorization and encryption of Amazon S3 keys. With the introduction of AWS Identity and Access Management, by Amazon, in October 2010, we are now using Amazon S3’s APIs, for authorization and issuing separate keys to different team members.
