How to use patch installation for Linux?

After successful download of Bucket Explorer Linux patch, please rename the existing Bucket Explorer jar to $current_date$_BucketExplorer.jar then extract the patch in the directory where original Bucket Explorer was installed.

  1. Bucket Explorer.jar should not be in use when extracting this patch ( i.e. Bucket Explorer should be shutdown. )
  2. After the patch extraction is done, please verify that you should see a jar file by name $current_date$_BucketExplorer.jar which is an older version and renamed to new current date such as $current date$_BucketExporer.jar , just to keep a backup.
  3. Verify the new BucketExplorer.jar's size.
