How to use patch installation for MAC OSX?

After successful download of Bucket Explorer MAC OSX patch, please rename the existing Bucket Explorer.app $current_date$_BucketExplorer.app then extract the patch in the directory where original Bucket Explorer was installed.

  1. Bucket Explorer.app should not be in use when extracting this patch ( i.e. Bucket Explorer should be Logged Off ) .
  2. After the patch extraction is done, please verify that you should see a app file by name $current_date$_BucketExplorer.app which is an older version and renamed to current date, just to keep a backup.
  3. Verify the new BucketExplorer.app's size.
