What is Bucket Explorer Team Edition and why should I use it?

Bucket Explorer Team Edition allows you to share a single Amazon S3 accounts with multiple trusted individuals, who are part of a team.

  1. The AWS keys for the single account shared are obfuscated (hidden) from all team members.
  2. Each team member's access can be controlled by team admin.
Team edition is not designed to share a bucket with anyone on the internet. Although it uses strong encryption technology to encrypt and store AWS credentials on the team member's computer, we do not recommend that you provide access to a member whom you do not know or whom you do not trust. It is designed for smaller teams of up to 100 team members and should not be used to share a bucket with anyone on the internet.
