bring back first 1000 objects relative to sort

Postby cartango on Tue Oct 16, 2007 5:50 pm

I have a folder with about 5000 sub-folders. Is there a way to bring back the objects by uploaded date as opposed to name? Because my folders names are in the format of 0001 to 5000, the latest folders never show up unless i tell it to bring back like 100,000 objects. The product is great and keeps getting better, but this would be helpful.

cartango,

Thanks for registering here and thanks for your constant feedback :)

If you click on the "Show All File" button, you will see an option to filter. You can filter by first few letters of the file name / folder name. This may help if recently uploaded folder / files have higher "folder number", i.e. if 5000 means it was uploaded after 4500, then this might work.

Also, you can Deselect the "Show ACL" and then increase the page size to 10,000 instead of 1,000. That way, you can see 10,000 files at a time.

S3 API does not provide us a way to fetch by modified date, so these are some workarounds.

Thanks
Saurabh

That will work.

Thanks. I know you can only work with the options they give you, but this will work for what I want.
