command line version for automated backups

Postby saurabh on Sun Oct 14, 2007 11:51 pm

We got many feature requests for a command line version for automated / scheduled backups. We plan to add that feature some times in November.

Is it available yet?

Thanks!

Yes, it is coded, and is gone through the initial QA. Most of the beta versions will expire on Dec 31st. So, currently we are focusing on releasing the first paid version (which we must release prior to Dec 31st because of expiry).

As soon as this is released, we will focus again on the next beta. I can assure you that there are many good features in the new beta.

Did this ever get released? I need to map drives so that I can use RoboCopy to copy over just changed files from my local machine via batch file.

We don't have the "mapped drive" feature on our roadmap. You can use Bucket Commander to just copy over the changed files via a batch file. You can download the latest Bucket Commander release from here - http://blog.bucketexplorer.com/2008/09/ ... l-release/
