follow up on old requests

I wanted to know the status of 2 old requests - as well as add one.

what is the status with:
1) File\Folder sync to s3
2) Command line line tools for running in a batch

Also- os there a way to have files uplaoded set to public_read by default?

Command line tool for running in a batch and the ability to upload files set to public_read by default have been added in the next release already. We have provided that release to some of our existing customers and are making improvements in it based on the feedback. If you have a license for 2007.12 release, drop us an email, and will send you a link to download beta of the new release.

File & Folder sync was also added in this release, but we are rolling it back along with copy, rename, move for buckets & objects. Amazon will be releasing their own version of copy and it does not make sense for us to introduce our own version of copy command, so we will just use the new API when its released. Sync feature needs to save older versions, which requires copy. That's why the current beta release will only support uploads and downloads from command line.
