Version 2.0 beta is now available for testing

Version 2.0, beta which was mentioned in this post is now a GA release available on the main download site. This post is being edited to remove all beta links.[Edit - 2008/06/06}]


If you want to get notified about a new release of Bucket Explorer, changes in Amaozn S3 service API or an important post in our documentation section, go ahead and subscribe to the blog.

There are two ways to subscribe to the updates.

Its still in private beta, and we have been making some changes based on feedback we received from our existing customers. I am hoping that within next few days we will make it a public beta, i.e. stable enough for everyone to use.

When starting the new beta, I get the following message (Vista SP1):

Given final block not properly padded

When I click OK, I get the License Verification screen but the "Get 30 days Free-Trial License" button never ungrays.

Did you extract the zip to a folder which had a previous version of Bucket Explorer & a previous version of trial license?

Yeah, I just dragged the .exe files into my existing folder. I cleared out the .lic file and certficate store and that resolved the issue. Thanks!

First of all, great product!

We have a bucket that is 45+GB and it took at least 6 hours to view the Bucket Size information in the 'Show Properties' dial log box of selected bucket.
